Steamed white rice with dried smelt marinated in mirin, sugar and sesame seeds.
Mirin ( or みりん) is an essential condiment used in Japanese cuisine, consisting of 40%–50% sugar.
Sukiyaki with beef, tofu, carrot, scallions, cabbage and rice noodles.
Pickled daikon, carrot, and cucumber.
